Make a passport-size photo at 300 DPI and a multi-copy print sheet. This does not create a passport or verify identity.
Runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded — your input is processed on this device and discarded when you close the tab.
This tool does not create a passport. It only sizes and crops a photo you already have. It does not verify your identity and it is not an official document. Always check the receiving authority's current rules before you submit anything.
JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. Your photo stays on this device and is never uploaded.
Custom sizes are your own choice, not an official size.
Preview at the exact output ratio. The crop fills the frame; nothing is stretched. Print the sheet at 100% (Actual Size) and check it with a ruler.
Misuse notice: use this tool only for your own photos and your own applications. Do not use it to alter a photo so it misrepresents how you look. If you see this tool misused, report it via the site contact page.
This tool does not check whether a photo meets any authority's rules on background, expression, glasses, head size or recency, and it does not guarantee acceptance anywhere. It does not remove backgrounds, retouch appearance, or detect faces. A photo that is the right size can still be rejected for any of those other reasons, so the authority's current guidance is the final check, not this page. The print sheet draws cut outlines only; it does not print the photo itself, and your printer's margins and scaling decide the final result — which is why the ruler check matters.
No. It only sizes and crops a photo. A passport is issued by a government authority; nothing on this page is an official document or a verification of identity.
No. The photo is read in your browser and drawn on a canvas on your device. Closing the tab discards it, unless you opt in to a saved draft (which stores only the size choice, not the photo).
The size the receiving authority asks for. The two named sizes on this page are 35 x 45 mm (UK / HM Passport Office) and 2 x 2 inches, 51 x 51 mm (US Department of State). If your authority asks for something else, use the custom size and enter its millimetres yourself.
Dots per inch at print size. A 35 x 45 mm photo at 300 DPI is 413 x 531 pixels; a 51 x 51 mm photo is 602 x 602 pixels. Those pixel counts are calculated, not guessed, and the print sheet PDF sets its page size in exact millimetres.
Because a printer's "Fit to page" setting shrinks the sheet to leave margins, so every photo comes out smaller than the size you chose. "Actual Size" or 100% keeps the millimetres true; measuring one photo with a ruler proves it.
No. It crops and sizes only. It cannot fix blur, shadows, glare or a wrong background, and it must not be used to change how a person looks in an identity photo. Take a better photo instead.
