Design an event ticket

For your own events only. This ticket is for an event you organize. It is not a transport, cinema, bank or government ticket, and it carries no such branding or layout.

These are this tool's own design sizes, not official ticket sizes.

Misuse notice: tickets are for events you organize, with true details. Do not copy a transport, cinema, bank or government ticket, and do not sell a ticket for an event you do not run. If you see this tool misused, report it via the site contact page.

The stub repeats the event name, date and serial, so a torn stub reconciles by hand. Print at 100% (Actual Size) and check with a ruler.

How to use the Event Ticket Designer

  1. Type the event name and your organization. Both are required; the organization is the "Issued by" line.
  2. Add date, time and venue, then ticket type, price as plain text, and seat or section if you use reserved seating.
  3. Number the run. Enter a starting serial (for example 001) and how many tickets you want, up to 100. Numeric serials keep their leading zeros; other serials repeat as typed for a single ticket.
  4. Check the stub. The stub carries the same serial as the main ticket, so the two halves match after tearing.
  5. Download PNG or vector PDF and print at 100% on card stock if you want a clean tear.

Limitations

This tool designs a ticket; it does not sell tickets, take payments, check tickets in, or prove that an event will happen. There is no barcode or QR that links to a booking system in this version — the serial is plain text you manage yourself, so keep your own list of issued numbers. Price is plain text, not a payment or tax calculation. A ticket printed at "Fit to page" will be the wrong size, so print at 100% and measure.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make a train, flight or cinema ticket here?

No. This tool is for your own events only, with a plain event layout. It has no transport, cinema, bank or government layouts or branding.

What size is the ticket?

Standard 200 x 80 mm or compact 170 x 60 mm — this tool's own design sizes. The PDF page is set to exactly the size you choose.

How does the numbered run work?

Enter a starting serial and a count up to 100. A numeric start like 001 counts up keeping its width (001, 002, 003). The preview lists the run so you can check it before downloading.

What is the stub for?

The small end section, separated by a line, that the door keeps when the ticket is torn. It repeats the event name, date and serial, so a torn stub can be matched back to its ticket by hand.

Does this tool sell or validate tickets?

No. It only designs and prints the ticket. Sales, payments and door checks are your own systems.
