Design, Print & Branding
Design, Print & Branding is the category for things you hand to someone else: a code on a label, a card in a hand, a mark at the top of a page, a tag on a bag, a certificate on a wall, a signature at the bottom of an email. Each tool in this category is built around one practical question — will it scan, will it print at the right size, will it still look right where it lands? The tools answer that question with evidence, not with a vague promise. A barcode tool shows its check digit and its sheet layout in millimetres. A QR tool enforces its quiet zone and warns about low contrast before you download anything. A business card tool keeps text inside a 5 mm safe margin and gives you a PDF whose page size you can verify with a ruler. A luggage tag tool fixes its strap hole and keeps text out of the hole's clear zone, because a tag that is punched through a phone number has already failed. Everything in this category runs in your browser. Nothing you type, upload or paste is sent to a server or logged, except for one disclosed exception carried over from Wave 1: if you enter a logo URL in the Email Signature Generator, that URL loads for preview, because the tool cannot show you a logo it has never fetched. No tracking pixel, no analytics link and no co-brand line is added to any output. Drafts, where a tool offers them, are saved in your browser only if you opt in by pressing Save, and a visible Clear button removes them. Print accuracy is treated as a feature, not as a footnote. Sheet and card layouts are given in millimetres, PDF page sizes are calculated from those millimetres, and every print tool tells you to print at 100% / Actual Size, because “Fit to page” rescales the sheet and breaks the size you designed. For codes, the same honesty applies: a code that generates without errors is not automatically a code that scans. Size, distance, contrast, quiet zone and surface all matter, and the tool pages say so before you print a batch. Two safeguards define the newer tools in this category. The Logo Maker builds its marks from geometry computed in the tool itself — circles, polygons, stars and bars — so no export contains artwork copied from another brand, and its page carries a trademark note stating plainly that it does not clear a name for commercial use. The Certificate Maker is stricter still: it requires a named issuer, offers no seal, hologram, logo upload or verification wording, and refuses downloads that contain fake-verification phrases. A recognition certificate from a named issuer is useful; a document dressed up to look official is not, and the category draws that line in the open. An email signature tool, by contrast, builds a table with inline styles, because that is the format mail clients actually keep, and it tells you plainly when an install step has not been tested.

Working notes
Print at 100% / Actual Size and measure one label with a ruler; scan one printed code before a batch; send yourself a test email before relying on a signature. “Fit to page” rescales a sheet and breaks the size you designed.
Frequently asked questions
Which tool should I use for a product label?
Use Barcode Label Maker for a label that will be scanned by a barcode reader, and QR Code Generator for a label that should open a link, a contact or a location on a phone. The two are different readers for different jobs, and using the wrong one is the most common labelling mistake.
Will my printed cards, tags and labels come out at the right size?
Yes, if you print at 100% / Actual Size and measure one item with a ruler. “Fit to page” rescales the sheet. The tool pages give the exact millimetre sizes and the ruler check for every print layout.
Do these tools upload my designs?
No. QR, barcode, card, logo, tag and certificate work is done in your browser, and email signatures are built in your browser from the details you type. The single exception is a user-hosted logo URL in the Email Signature Generator, which loads for preview only, and that exception is stated on that tool page.
Can the Certificate Maker produce an official-looking certificate?
No, and that is deliberate. It requires a named issuer, offers no seal, hologram, logo upload or verification wording, and refuses downloads containing fake-verification phrases. It makes recognition certificates for your own courses, events and awards — not official documents.
Can I use a logo from the Logo Maker commercially?
You may use a logo you design here, but the tool does not clear the name or design for you. It builds original geometric marks and carries no copied artwork, but trademark availability is a separate check you must make before commercial use, and the tool page says so.
Are the badges, tickets and student cards official documents?
No. They are designs formatted from what you type, for your own events and your own school use. A badge does not authorize anyone, a ticket does not prove an event will happen, and a student card does not prove enrolment. Only the issuing organization can make a document official.
