A cookie is a small piece of data a website asks your browser to store and send back on later requests. This page lists every cookie this site uses, separately from similar browser storage that is not a cookie. It is deliberately short, because the list is short.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID |
Essential session cookie. It holds a random session identifier that supports the security (CSRF) token protecting the contact form and the server-side checker tools against forged submissions, and small pieces of form state such as when the contact form was opened (an anti-spam timing check). It is set by us, contains no personal information, and is not used for tracking or advertising. It is HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read it) and SameSite=Lax (it is not sent with most cross-site requests), and it is sent over HTTPS only when the site is served over HTTPS. | Session — deleted by your browser when you close it. |
That is the complete list. We do not currently set analytics cookies, and no third party sets cookies through this site at present.
Not cookies: browser local storage
Two tools use your browser's local storage. Local storage is not a cookie: it is never sent to our server with requests, and we cannot read it. It holds:
- UTM Campaign Builder presets — campaign presets you choose to save, so you can reuse them on your next visit.
- CSV to Chart handoff data — if you choose to send cleaned data from the CSV Cleaning Studio to the Chart Builder, the data is held in local storage so the second tool can open it.
Local storage stays in your browser until you clear it. Deleting this site's data in your browser settings (usually under privacy or site settings for atoztools.pro) removes both the cookie above and these local storage items.
Advertising cookies — not currently set
AtoZTools plans to use Google AdSense, but advertising is currently disabled: no ad code is loaded, and no Google or other advertising cookies are set by this site today.
When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use advertising cookies (including the Google advertising cookie) to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. Before that happens, visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be shown a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform, and this page and the Privacy Policy will be updated with the full disclosure and opt-out routes.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, and clear site data for an individual site, in its settings. If you block or delete the session cookie, the contact form and the server-side checkers will not be able to verify their security token and will ask you to reload and try again — the rest of the site, including all browser-based tools, will keep working.
