What this tool does not do / Limits
This checks format and pattern only. It has no live bank database, so it does not confirm that a UPI ID, bank handle, or account exists, and it must never be used to verify a payee.

Does a valid format mean the UPI ID can receive money?
No. Only the bank or payment provider can confirm a live UPI ID.
What characters are allowed before the @?
Letters, digits, dots, underscores and hyphens, with at least 2 characters.
