- Use Load sample for 120 likes, 30 comments, 10 shares and 2000 followers.
Worked example
With 120 likes, 30 comments and 10 shares, total interactions are 160. Over 2000 followers, the engagement rate is 160 / 2000 x 100 = 8%.

Frequently asked questions
Should I use followers or reach?
This tool uses followers, which is the most common simple definition. A rate based on reach would need a different denominator and would give a different number.
What counts as an interaction here?
Likes, comments and shares only. Views, saves and clicks are left out so the formula stays exactly as shown.
