How to use this tool

Worked example

With the resume text 'Python developer with SQL experience.' and keywords python, sql and docker, 2 of the 3 keywords appear, so the score is 2 / 3 x 100 = 66.7%. Docker is the missing keyword.

What this tool does not do / Limits

This is a simple keyword-overlap heuristic on pasted text only. It is NOT a real ATS score and NOT a guarantee of passing any employer's system, which also weighs formatting, experience, qualifications and human review.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my score low even though I have the skills?

The check only looks for the exact keywords you typed, so a skill described in different words will not count unless you add that wording.

Should I stuff keywords into my resume?

No. Add keywords only where they describe real experience, since keyword stuffing can hurt you with human reviewers.
