What this tool does not do / Limits
The live test uses the microphone on this device only, with your permission, and nothing is recorded or sent anywhere. It cannot test a different or remote microphone, and the level meter stops after 30 seconds or when you leave the page.

No. The live test only measures volume levels in this page; nothing is recorded, stored or sent.
Why is the level 0%?
Either the microphone is muted, access was denied, or no sound is reaching it. Check permission and volume settings.
