How to use this tool

  1. Enter your values in the fields above.
  2. Press Generate to see the result.
  3. Use Load sample to try the worked example, Copy result to copy it, or Clear to start again.

Worked example

The code “var msg = "hello";” becomes a string table holding the hex-encoded text plus a lookup, with the word hello no longer visible as plain text.

What this tool does not do / Limits

This is ONLY a simple string-array and hex encoding. It is NOT real protection against a determined reader: anyone can decode the table in seconds, so never use it to hide passwords, keys or secrets.

Frequently asked questions

Does this protect my code?

No. It only makes casual reading harder; a determined reader can reverse it easily.

Should I put secrets in obfuscated code?

Never. Anything shipped to a browser can be read, obfuscated or not.
