How to use this tool

Worked example
From 1 January 2026 to 31 January 2026 is 30 days, which is 4 weeks and 2 days.
What this tool does not do / Limits
This counts whole calendar days between the two dates and ignores times of day. The order of the dates does not matter: swapping them gives the same gap.
Frequently asked questions
Are both end dates counted?
No. The result is the number of steps from one date to the other, so two identical dates give 0 days.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes, because it uses real calendar dates: a gap crossing 29 February includes that day automatically.
