How to use this tool

1. Paste CSV data in the box.
2. Press Convert to see the same data with tabs between columns.
3. Use Load sample for a quoted value containing a comma.

Worked example

The sample a,b with the row "x,y",2 converts to a tab line whose first value is x,y (the comma stays inside the value) and whose second value is 2. A value that itself contains a tab is kept readable by replacing the tab with a space, because a raw tab would otherwise split the column.

What this tool does not do / Limits

Tabs inside values are replaced with a single space, since a TSV file cannot tell a tab inside a value from a tab between columns. New lines inside quoted values are also replaced with a space for the same reason.
