Add Watermark to Image
How to use this tool
- Enter your values in the fields above.
- Press Generate to see the result.
- Use Load sample to try the worked example, Copy result to copy it, or Clear to start again.
Worked example
On an 800 x 600 image, a 200 x 40 watermark at bottom-right with a 20 margin sits at x = 800 - 200 - 20 = 580 and y = 600 - 40 - 20 = 540.
What this tool does not do / Limits
The image never leaves your browser: it is read locally with FileReader, drawn on a canvas and downloaded from that canvas. This tool does not upload, store or process images on any server, and it does not remove watermarks or prove ownership.
Frequently asked questions
Will my image be uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your device; the file is read locally and the result is downloaded from your browser.
Can I change the watermark text and position?
Yes. Type any text, pick a corner or centre position and set the opacity before applying it to your image.
